Program areas at Thrive Community Services
Community day Services - provide individualized therapeutic and educational programs in daily living skills, vocational training, leisure skills and survival skill training to adults with a developmental disability in order to improve the individual's work capabilities, to enhance his/her independent functioning and to move upward to the work center or competitive employment. To provide individualized therapeutic programs in self-care training, basic living skills and pre-vocational training to adults with a developmental disability in order to lessen their dependence and to maximize functional activity level.
Employment Services - help individuals identify the best work environments based upon one's gifts, strengths, and interests that align with an employer's needs and desires.
Gordon behrents senior center - to provide adult day Services designed to prevent premature long-term care placement, promote client independence, provide respite for families and caregivers, provide increased socialization and provide a safe environment for clients. 93% of person Services maintained active faily living by patricipation in exercise program.
