Program areas at IBA

Iba is a non-profit owner and developer of affordable housing. The main goal is to provide an affordable, safe and healthy environment that promotes the highest quality of life for low and moderate-income families and elders.iba also support families that are at risk of losing their homesby helping them retain their housing through different services that include: counseling, case management and advocacy.
Real estate management - non-profit owner and developer of affordable housing. The main goal is to provide an affordable, safe and healthy environment that promotes the highest quality of life for low and moderate-income families and elders. Iba owns a rental housing porfolio of 667 affordable units.
Preschool - our approach goes well beyond testing scores, it focuses on skills development, such as inclusion, adaptability, creativity, critical thinking and independence. Our dedicated teachers and staff nurture each child's creativity and individuality, recognizing these skills to be just as important as the academic skills they need to succeed. All of our students graduate prepared for kindergarten - they leave us ready to read, with strengthened bilingual skills, and with the knowledge that will serve them to become valued members of their society. Our program focuses on 5 core values to educate your child for future success;socio-emotional skills, literacy skills, learning skills, cognitive development, and fine and gross motor development.
Arts-the largest latino arts center in new england, iba presents concerts, festivals, exhibits and other high quality programming that is affordable accessible, and innovative.
Youth development program fosters socio-emotional, intellectual and artistic growth in young people between 14 and 19 years old, while helping them develop 21st century skills to be successful in life.
Resident services program works to empower residents of the villa victoria affordable housing community with a particular focus on the community's seniors, we promote living an a more active and fulfilling life. Using a culturally responsive approach, our caring and bilingual team helps residents:meet basic needs through advocacy, case management and referrals.keep active and connected to the community through social, recreational, and cultural programming.boost health and wellness through fitness/exercise classes, workshops and health screenings.
College and financial empowerment program is an innovative educational development and financial empowerment partnership with bunker hill community college. Serving as a mini-satellite campus of bunker hill community college, iba offers a unique model of a college campus in the heart of an affordable housing community.
Real estate development
Rental - our rental portfolio comprises 520 units of rental affordable housing combined with comprehensive resident services, and programs in education, workforce development and the arts. We contract with a property management company to run the day-to-day operations of our housing portfolio.
Preschool program - iba's preschool program prepares latino children, including those that qualify as low-income, to thrive in kindergarten, while enhancing their social, emotional, linguistic, cultural, and cognitive development.
Youth development- iba's youth development program fosters socio-emotional, intellectual and artistic growth in young people between 13 and 19 years old, while helping them develop 21st century skills to be successful in life.
