Program areas at Hnba Via - Vision in Action - Fund
Hnba/via annual convention (ac) - major annual event consists primarily of continuing legal education seminars on a variety of topics and current affairs, as well as training programs and workshops supporting the development and advancement of hispanic students, legal professionals and community. Attendees participate in accredited presentations and discussion forums with leading practitioners and national leaders, and in social and networking events attended by distinguished guests, elected officials and representatives of the hispanic legal and business community.
Other hnba/via programs - intellectual property institute (ipli), su dinero program, poder25 program, latina leadership academy, latina executive leadership program, lgbt annual summit, annual youth symposium, and pearls of wisdom series, among others. Via Fund also publishes noticias, a forum for the exchange of information, opinions, and ideas, twice per year. Noticias is published during the ccc and ac each year and includes substantive articles as well as conferences' programmatic content which was previously published separately.
Hnba/via corporate counsel conference (ccc) - annual event consists primarily of continuing legal education seminars and networking to provide connections between in-house counsel and outside counsel. in addition, an annual moot court competition is held which is judged by sitting and retired judges to promote mastery of oral and written skills and provides an opportunity for law students from across the nation to gather in an educational environment. Winners of the competition receive scholarship funds.
