Program areas at Families Moving Forward

Emergency shelter program: the nest emergency shelter has the capacity to serve 20 Families at a time. In 2022, fmf served 63 Families total, with 74% exiting to permanent housing. 97% of nest Families participated in programming to include behavioral health support, workforce development, children's services, family engagement activities, and case management.
Rapid rehousing: started in fall 2022, the rapid rehousing program placed three Families into stable housing in 2022. The program provides ongoing case management before and after placement, as well as financial support to secure and remain in housing for up to six months after placement.
Aftercare program: in 2022, 32 Families opted into branching out aftercare services once they were placed into housing from the shelter. Services include ongoing case management, access to onsite programming, and connection to additional community resources. Of the 32 Families, 30 of them remained housed after 12 months.
