Program areas at Animal Charity Evaluators
Fundraising for supported charities: ace continued to fundraise for our supported charities by encouraging donations to our recommended charities and grant recipients. We raised $3.5m for our effective top charities and standout charities, and distributed $910,000 to 35 promising Animal advocacy projects around the world through our movement grants program.
Education and advocacy: Animal Charity Evaluators continued to provide free resources on effective Animal advocacy to thousands of website visitors. We informed our audience of the latest news and updates impacting the effective Animal advocacy movement, along with ways they can help, through social media and email marketing. We also provided our donor base with significant updates and information on our recommended charities and grantees.
Research and recommendations: we completed 12 Charity reviews using our four rigorous criteria to provide recommendations to advocates and donors on charities that are doing highly impactful work, and reviewed 200 applications to our movement grants program, issuing 50 grants. We published blog posts containing information about our methodology for evaluations and updates our grantees.
