Academic degree programs to The ma, msc, and phd levels: The official academic enrollment figures for fy 2022 are taken on The census day of The fall semester. The total academic enrollment was 6,980 with 5,652 undergraduate students, 1,100 master's degree students, and 69 phd students and 159 additional students in programs not leading to undergraduate, master's, or phd degrees. During fy 2022, 1,162 students completed undergraduate degree programs, 6 completed doctorate degrees, and 255 completed master's degree programs.
Research and other sponsored activity programs: The office of sponsored programs reports that auc received grants and awards in The aggregate amount of $29,402,263 from outside sponsors during fy 2022 in support of research, training and public service projects. This includes 95 sponsored projects averaging over $309,498 per project. in addition to The many and varied faculty research projects, The University conducts research projects through 12 research centers (see schedule o).access to knowledge for development center (a2k4d), center for applied research on The environment & sustainability (cares), center for migration and refugee studies, center of nanoelectronics and devices (cnd), cynthia nelson institute for gender and women's studies, el khazindar business research and case center, kamal adham center for television and digital journalism, middle east studies center, school of business financial center, The prince alwaleed bin talal alsaud center for American studies and research (casar), social research center, and yousef jameel science and technology research center.
Adult and continuing education programs: during fy 2022, programs in The school of continuing education enrolled a total of 19,235 students. The school of business executive education enrolled 3,177 students. The engineering services programs enrolled more than 10,000 students.
Other program servicesauxiliary enterprises (auc bookstore, press, transportation, and student housing): The auc press publishes annually up to 80 wide-ranging academic texts and general interest books on ancient and modern egypt and The middle east, as well as arabic literature in translation, for distribution worldwide, and maintains a backlist of more than 800 high-quality scholarly, literary, and general interest publications, including e-books. Through its bookstores and distributors in egypt and abroad, The auc press is The region's leading english-language publisher. During fy 2022, it maintained around 950 titles in print and released more than 50 new titles. Auc students in new Cairo housing. During fy 2022, auc student resident facilities accomodated (1,565) students.
