Program areas at American Association of Endodontists Foundation
Research - groundbreaking research fuels the specialty and gives both established and developing Endodontists the tools to achieve excellence in patient care, saving natural teeth whenever possible. In order to help define endodontics as a specialty, the Foundation strives to fund impactful research studies, ranging in scale and complexity.
Access to care - the Foundation funds a variety of access to care initiatives - assisting patients in underserved communities, highlighting the role endodontics play in the dental community, providing mentorship and hands-on opportunities for dental students to work alongside specialists, and engaging younger members.
Education - supporting endodontic education and faculty is critical to the growth and future success of the specialty. It is the Foundation's mission to ensure that dental students are taught endodontics by highly qualified specialists in the field who remain passionate about endodontics and are at the forefront of research and technology. Strong academic and scientific agendas equal a strong and productivity future for the specialty.
